Linking People to your Club

If an individual has created an account separately and was not added via your club, you can easily link the person to your account as a Club Administrator.  An individual cannot link themselves to an organisation, this must be done through the club.

This can be done the same way a new user is added:

1. Click People
2. Click Create New Account
3. Enter the details for the person

Note: The system will check the email address entered against what exists already, and let you know if the account email exists with a different name, or happens to already be in your account.

4. Once the details are entered, click Create Account

The linked user will then get an email letting them know the Administrator has linked them to the new organisation.

Important: The search looks for an exact name match, so you will get an alert if you enter Sue Smith, but she exists as Susan Smith.  You can still continue to link the person, just be sure the proper name exists for the account once it's linked in.
